Sony today announced that it’s expanding its standalone internet TV streaming service PlayStation Vue to Android TV. Subscribers can watch their favorite TV shows, sports, and movies via PlayStation Vue on Android TV starting today. The company has also confirmed that PC and Mac web support for the service is going to be released soon, those who are interested in subscribing can already sign up for PlayStation Vue via the web so they don’t necessarily need a PlayStation console to get onboard.

Formerly known as DirecTV Now, AT&T TV offers packages from $59.99 USD per month. Windows PC / Mac Use the (PS Remote Play) application to control your PlayStation®4 system from your computer. The web experience is coming soon to PC and Mac. It will include some unique features such as a “mini-player” which will enable users to shrink the player to the corner of the browser window so that they can continue browsing PlayStation Vue for content to watch while streaming. Sony hasn’t said when the web experience will arrive, only that it’s “coming soon.”

Restrictions

Some games do not support Remote Play.
Games that require peripherals such as PlayStation®VR or PlayStation®Camera aren't compatible with Remote Play.
You can't use Remote Play on your PS5 console or PS4 console in the following situations:

The following restrictions apply when using Remote Play:
- You can't use Share Screen or Share Play, or broadcast your gameplay.
